The output for different paper sizes using the graphic printer is replaced by selecting a plan format. Graphics of a chosen plan format will now be taken together with graphics in standard format in the document. For the graphics in plan format a seperate plan header can be defined and stored as a project property.
Partial factors are added to the overview of the load cases.

Long term deflection: In supports areas it could happen that unfavorable deflections were determined.

Version 01/16

Support reaction

The graphical presentation of walls has been corrected and revised.

Output profile

Improvements for the reuse of saved output settings.

Calculation results

When opening items with existing results it can be selected, whether the results are to be restored or completely deleted. The settings can be done in the menue "Options / Results".

Version 02/15

Selection of the concrete strength class according to DIN EN 1992: 2013 is possible again after a second call.

New Version of the National Annex for United Kingdom and Germany implemented:
BS EN 1992:2009 and DIN EN 1992:2013.

Version 02/14

Line joints

From this version on, different joint versions are available for selection (moment joint, shear force joint and shear force and moment joint).

Results with level lines

The user can optionally label level lines directly and/or put them out with the legend.

Output profile

Clarity was considerably improved. Moreover, the results can optionally put out together with the auxiliary geometry or the Dxf-slide. The newly available "Minimum profile" option generates an elementary output scope that can be customized as required.

Version 01/14

Deformation Assessment Due to Cracking, Creep, and Shrinkage

The numerical algorithm has been refined in order to more accurately fulfill the various support and boundary conditions of arbitrary slab systems.

Globale Bewehrung

A globally preset reinforcement can now be defined within the dialog of the flexural design settings and can uniformly be activated for all design checks (defaults ar on and 2,57 cm2/m).

Graphics Printer

The illustrations bound to be printed on a graphics printer in the printer settings can now be printed seperately from the general settings (Output - Graphics printer only).

Version 02/13

Extended Memory Management For Computation Of Larger Systems

32-Bit programs have an accessible address space of at most 2 GB. Depending on the actual memory in use there is often far less space available. With the memory management in its newly developped version the program computes approximately 50,000 elements and about 4 loadcases or 20,000 elements with about 30 loadcases. Compared to the previous memory management that means a 4- or 5-times increase in computing capacitiy.
Note: For the new managment a format change of the result files was inevitable. For this reason, files created with the new program version cannot be used with older program versions (no backward compatibility). Existing files of older versions can naturally be read by the new version.

Version 01/13A

Seismic Actions

The partial safety coefficients acccording to ÖNORM B 1998-1:2006-07 paragraph are included.

Version 01/13

Deformation Assessment Due to Cracking, Creep, and Shrinkage

In addition to the deflections under the assumption of an uncracked concrete state, under characteristic loads and with ideal concrete cross sections, the program lets us assess the deflections due to cracking, creep, or shrinkage. The calculation is based on the effective stiffnesses, the quasi-permanent design situation, and the distribution coefficient according to EN 1992-1-1 7.4.3.
Requirement: the durability check within the Base Parameters has to be activated in order to have the quasi-permanent combination calculated.
The impact of creep and shrinkage is controlled by means of the creep coefficient and the shrinkage strain (see the Desing Settings - Serviceability).
Alternatively, the locally required reinfocement or a globally preset reinforcement are employed. Any present reinforcement regions are included automatically.

Documentation of System Details

The program offers now additional output variants, such as FE mesh, auxiliary geometry, or constraint geometry.

Version 02/12A

Transmission of Beam Results to Program DLT

The crucial beam results of any number of non linear computations were not transferred to program DLT - fixed

Version 02/12

New Design Codes

- EN 1992-1-1:2004/AC:2010 (w/o national annex)
- PN-EN 1992-1-1:2008/NA:2010
- ÖNorm B 1992-1-1:2011-12-01

Version 01/12

New Filing of the Auxiliary Layers

The data of the auxiliary-layer management are now stored along with the project item that uses the data. In this way, the data is preserved even after copying, importing or sending a project item.

New Filing of Results

The filing of the created FE mesh as well as the results is now integrated into the new data base management. In this way, the data is still available even after copying, importing or sending a project item. Results of a project item that were calculated on one computer don't have to be recalculated, if the project item will be transferred to another computer.
Note: the previous way of filing is still available.

Formatting and Layout

The layout of text output was upgraded to the new capabilities of the FDD Frilo.Document. Designer.

Storing the Design Settings Across Projects

The momentary design settings can now be saved (from the menu "Results" - "Save Design setings + code") in order to be used as default settings with every new project item.
Note: all design settings are still saved along with the project item.

New Options in the Output Settings

The control options were refined as well as the clarity and comprehensibility were improved. In the "Save / Restore" tab (previously "Save") the momentary settings can be saved to file or previously saved settings can be restored from a selected file.

Numerical Output of Beam Results

The results of "characteristic" superpositions are now listed in an explicitly space-saving form.

Non-Linear Computations

For systems with failure of springs under tension, any number of loadcases can be combined into sets of non-linear computations. Depending on the load actions involved, all design situations required are individually computed. For instance, mutually exclusive actions can be grouped into different sets. Following the non-linear computations, the crucial results of all computations are determined. For results such as internal forces, support reactions, and deformations an additional computation based on characteristic values is performed.

Version 01/11B

Beam Results

In rare cases, some beams were displayed without results.

Version 01/11

Results in Grid View

In grid view, the design locations of the FE elements are displayed if the new button "Show design points" on the icon bar of the grid results is pressed. Depending on what was selected, those locations are either the midpoints of the element sides, the element vertices, or the centers of the elements.
In addition, the values to each location are shown if the button "show values" of the general icon bar is pressed.

Results as Contour Graphs

The program now displays the value of any contour line as tooltip at the position of the mouse cursor if the button "show values" of the general icon bar is pressed.

New European Design Code

UNI EN 1992-1-1/NTC:2008

Version 02/10B

Printout of Material Properties

Missing text items were added.

Version 02/10A

Numerical Output of Beam Results

The printing settings did not allow a distinction between the results of individual loadcases and the results of a superposition. This led to a considerable amount of unintended paper output. An additional column was added to the printing settings in order to differentiate between loadcases and superpositions.

Old German Design Code DIN 1045 (7.88)

- The design results could not be activated in the printing settings; fixed.
- The shear design for the superposed results were skipped. A huge number was indicated as the result of the maximum required shear reinforcement; fixed.

Version 02/10

Display of Results by Iso Lines

The iso lines are now configurable: lower and upper limit and the number of lines.
The line patterns were considerably improved to make it easier to distinguish the individual lines.

Export of Data to Allplan

Columns will now be transferred to Allplan.

Computation of Systems with Failure of Tensile Springs

The computation of more than one laodcase could end in an abnormal program termination.

Printing Settings

The results of the "characteristic" superposition can now be selected independently of the other combinations. For this purpose, there is an additional column in almost all tables.
In order to have the results of the characteristic superposition printed, checkmarks have to be set on the page "Superpositions" and with the individual results in column "Characteristic" as well.

Version 01/10

Upgrading of the interactive graphical input

1. The following tools have been modified or added functionalities are:
- a new setting to the modified functionality of "Mirror" (Tools -> Setting Mirror) makes it possible, that the source objects are retained or deleted.
- New functionality "Mirror Floor" implements (Tools -> Mirror Floor).
- The function "Move Floor" is modified so that the entire graphic representation of the floor is coupled to the input of the first reference point on the movement of the mouse cursor.
- The functionality to "Move Auxiliary Layer" is analogous to the modifications of the functionality "Move Floor" adjusted.
2. A new input for rotated auxiliary grid is available.
The input of the auxiliary grid via the following startup options:
- via reference;
- via reference line (angle of rotation of the auxiliary grid is determined using reference lines) Referring to the startup options is appropriate functionality in the control of the main selection and on the button bar of the auxiliary structure, implemented.
The functionality of "Rotate Objects" is adapted for the treatment of the rotated auxiliary grid.
3. Snap of objects to the floor auxiliary layers for the overlap is implemented.

Version 02/09

- Walls along circular arcs enclosing a circular hole yielded an program error.
- As of program versions 2009, there was no design verification for shear forces according to the Austrian design code ÖNORM B4700.

Version 01/09

New Options in the Printer Profile

- Upon a mouse click into the column heads of the columns "Max Scale" or "Opt Scale" respectively the corresponding scales are adopted as selected scales.
- After switching on or of the grapical printer option the maximum and optimized scales are automatically recalculated according to the actual paper size.

Note: program extensions are available at no charge only to SSV customers or customers with purchased update version 2009. In view of the use of foreign design codes, please refer to our general license policy.

New Display Option for Results of Beams and Result Sections

In addition to the display of the results by means of diagrams in seperate windows, the results can now be shown directly in the floorplan view. This allows better interpretation of the results in context with the structural system. For better readability the graphs can be freely scaled.

Global Orientation of Reinforcement and Design Direction

The orientation of the global desing direction is now freely selectable. In previous versions the global design direction was assumed to be parallel to the horizontal x axis.

Floorplan Dimensioning

The major measurements of the plate are now included with the display of the structural system. The orientation of the dimensioning is freely selectable.

Crack Control and Maximum Bar Diameter

The method that automatically increments the longitudinal reinforcement in cases, where the requirements of the crack widths or maximum bar diameter could not be met, was refined. With the previous version it could partially happen that the longitudinal reinforcement was incremented more than necessary.

For the verification of ultimate limit states the combination of actions for the seismic design situation according to EN 1990 is now available.

EN 1992 1-1

As off this program version, the European design code for the dimensioning of reinforced concrete structures becomes available. The code can be employed with any of the following the national annexes: Germany, Austria, or Great Britain.
