FRILO package for SEMA customers
SEMA GmbH is the world's leading manufacturer of 3D CAD / CAM software in timber construction and offers its customers everything from planning, design, visualization to production in one software solution. Within the SEMA software, users have access to an independent, extensive structural program package from FRILO. This currently includes the FRILO solutions Continuous Rafter D9, Purlin and Rafter Roof D11, Collar Beam Roof D12, Continuous Beam DLT, Timber Girder HO7, Timber Column HO1+ and Steel Column ST1. With this solution package, SEMA customers can perform calculations, structural verifications and preliminary measurements for rafters, purlins and columns. In addition to timber, the solutions in the program package also support steel.
Single component calculations are possible for all FRILO solutions listed in the package and can be called up directly via the SEMA software. For roof modules, there is also the option of carrying out multiple calculations for rafters and ceiling beams. In addition, the structural positions can be saved in the FRILO project management and called up again with the SEMA software.
Transfer of SEMA to FRILO solution Framework RSX
Particularly interesting for SEMA customers: The SEMA module "3D Strut-and-Node Model" enables the transfer of an entire 3D strut- and-node model to specialized structural software such as the FRILO solution Framework RSX. This enables SEMA customers to carry out the design and spatial load transfer of an entire 3D structure.
The programs included in the FRILO package will be successively updated to the latest PLUS version. The partnership provides for the future that SEMA customers can directly access the latest FRILO software versions in accordance to the current release. Then saved positions should also be available directly in the FRILO solutions. In addition, it is planned to link further FRILO structural solutions with the SEMA software in order to offer customers a broader portfolio.
