New: Implementation ÖNORM EN 1998-1:2017-07 Earthquake
In this programme version, ÖNORM B 1998-1:2017-07-07 was implemented. The standard applies to Austria for the design of structures in earthquake areas.
New: Implementation ÖNORM EN 1995:2019
The list of Eurocodes concerning the material timber (timber column) has been extended by the standard ÖNORM EN 1995:2019.
New: Interface GEO-SBR+ implemented
For the transfer of the data of all foundations of the building system to the new design programme for settlement calculation, the interface GEO-SBR+ was implemented.
New: Interface GEO-B6+: Punching shear calcuation for wall corners/wall ends
For the verification of punched-through wall corners / wall ends
the interface GEO-B6+ was extended.
The determination of the shear force is carried out according to an approximate
The shear force to the wall corner/wall end of an inner wall is determined by summing up the bearing force within the predefined influence length on the wall axis. A special newly developed dialogue of the interface, provides the control and the influence on the shear force for the verification of punching through of the wall corner or wall end before the data transfer to the B6+.
New: Material areas of the slab
Now sub-areas of the slab can be introduced with different STB materials.

Data exchange HO1+
The program HO1+ can be called directly from GEO.
Wind loads: New National Annexes DIN EN 1991-1-4:2010, ÖNORM EN 1991-1-4:2013, BS EN 1991-1-4:2011 implemented.
Reinforced concrete: New National Annexes DIN EN 1992:2013 und BS EN 1992:2009 implemented.
Earthquake: Extended calculations for the design according to DIN EN 1998:2011.
Correction load transfer to FD+
Correction relates to a rare situation in which an additional load case of constant load existed in the lowest storey of the building and no other constant load has been entered in the upper storeys.
Correction linear load
Optimization of polygonal load input without sending an error message when closing the polygonal line.
New steel construction standards for the handling of imperfections
From this version on, the equivalent horizontal forces of the sway imperfection are calculated in accordance with the steel construction standard selected in the basic floor parameters.
Control of the horizontal load transfer
A special user interface is available for the control of the horizontal load transfer (load-case specific and direction-relevant). Similar to the control of the vertical load transfer.
You can access the interface via the menu items "Tools", "Control of the horiz. load transfer" or via the button" Control of the horizontal load transfer".
New Line joints in plates
Functionality for the definition, processing and data management of line joints (shear force joint, moment joint, shear force and moment joint) is available.
Extension / modification of the graphical user interface
Multi-selection was implemented for the editing of the properties of the following components/objects:
- wall pillars (similar to the multi-selection of walls);
- linear loads (similar to the multi-selection of point loads)
New function "Separate all walls"
For the definition option "Wall on edge", the selection options "Combine" and "Not combine" have been enabled for walls that intersect.
Modification of the definition of the material of masonry
From this software version on, access to the dialog for the selection of the masonry material is additionally provided by a dedicated button (on the right of the code selection box).
Correction providing for the consideration of linear loads
A linear load applying to a wall located beyond the slab can be taken into account if the linear load is inside the wrapping of this wall.
Interface to the design application FDS+
The interface to FDS+ is available from this software version on.
Automatic adjustment of the wind loads after changing the basic building data
When the user changes the basic building data after having defined wind loads (load case Wx, load case Wy), a confirmation prompt proposing the automatic adjustment of the wind loads is displayed. If the user accepts the proposal, the wind loads are adjusted automatically to the new basic building data.
Masonry material in accordance with new standards for masonry verification
Masonry material is now defined in a standard-specific manner in a general dialog.
Modification of the management of the relative system of coordinates
The visibility of the axis of the relative system of coordinates has been enabled by default.
New interfaces to the design program B6+
For the analyse of columns on punching with the new design program B6+
is a new interface available from this version of the program.
Upgrading control to the results of the vertical loads
The output from the surface as a check of the results of the vertical loads
has been extended with the output to CSV file (Excel).
Change default setting for the standard
The default setting for the reinforced concrete standard to the program start with a new position
was of DIN 1045-1:2008 on the current new standard DIN EN 1992-1-1 / NA BER 1:2012-06 changed.
Upgrade / correction entering the horizontal load

For contours of all kinds
(plates contour, recesses, thickness regions, reinforcement regions, bedding regions, span regions and auxiliary contours) developed a new functionality of interactive graphics,
which enables you to enter of additional vertex of the outline in the edit mode.
New management of the floor levels
A new functionality to exchange a floor level above or below the floor level
(offset upwards or downwards) is available with this program version.
The functionality is integrated into the dialog "Floor Levels".
Correction of the dialog of the base parameters
If the dialog is closed without any changes,

Earthquake according to Eurocode 8
For the treatment of the earthquake according to the simplified response spectrum analysis
is now the DIN EN 1998/NA:2011-01 (Eurocode 8) available.
The complete functionality for the determination of the horizontal seismic replacement loads,
as well as inputs and outputs on the earthquake, were extended in relation to the standard.
Modifications to the treatment of the foundations
The treatment of the foundations has been modified and upgraded:
- the graphic representation of the foundations occurs with filled foundation areas;
- the compound and the separate foundations are determined can be executed in one;
- while switching the representation between him to compound and separate foundations
no new calculation is necessary.
Upgrading to presentation of the sums of the loads
Now the calculated forces can be separately with sums
of the constant G- and variable Q-loads in kN and in kN/m (for walls) will be displayed.
New Filing of the Auxiliary Layers
The data of the auxiliary-layer management are now stored along
with the project item that uses the data.
In this way, the data is preserved even after copying,
importing or sending a project item. Program version 01/2012 or newer is required at receiving side too.

The filing of the result data is now integrated into the new data base management.

Results of a project item that were calculated on one computer don't have to be recalculated,

Modification to the interface of the design programme SCN
With the treatment of the walls with Wall property:
"Wall works as a beam for lower floor"
the point loads in the support are transferred to
the design programme Panels By Finite Elements SCN.
New interface to the design programme STS (steel column)
The list of the interfaces "Design Check in F+L-programs" became
around a new interface for design programme steel column STS upgraded.
The service of the new interface is functional on already existing general
interactive kind of the select of the components construed.
New input materials for steel column
From this program version for the following standards of the steelstructure
materials can be entered:
- DIN 18800
- DIN EN 1993

Modification of the marking of the horizontal load
The representation of the horizontal load on the OpenGL display, or in the graphics window to enter
of the horizontal loading is applied by means of the arrow symbol and the textual inscription of the load.

The detailed data of the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG),

Automatic determination of vertical spring stiffness of steel columns
Automatic determination of the vertical spring stiffness is also self-defined cross-sections
(dimensions steel) expanded.
Sum of the loads at the graphical representation
The sum of the loads (base of the wall or base column), it is from this version,
also in proportion to the respective constant and variable loads on the graph.

in all Austria.

Measuring the distances in the graphic representation of the eccentricities of the earthquake equivalent force
For the interactive measurement of distances in the graphical
representation of the eccentricities of the equivalent force
of the earthquake object snap is enabled.
Modification in the interactive graphic input
The modification relates to functionality of the wall segments of a wall,
the mirrored pillars.

Graphic output of the eccentricities of the earth quake replacement loads (Fi)
The output the eccentricities of the earthquake replacement loads per floor
is graphically possible.

Extension of the interface MWX (masonry design)
The interface to the design program MWX has been extended to the following:
- Allows transfer to MWX several wall sections connected together as a brick wall.
- New surface (dialog) to control the load transfer to the design program.
- Load Case-specific delivery of the load on the wall
(with multipart walls of each wall section) during transmission of the variable part (Q-part) of the load cases of inclination, it determines the action group from the dominant vertical action group.
Upgrading of the text output
The following upgrading of the text output is available from this version:
1. Tabular output of the stiffening to a horizontal load distribution involved components (pillars and columns).
Navigate to the section of this output by the selection box under
"STIFFENING WALLS / COLUMNS." Default is off this kind of text.
Enabling this output: on the output settings (second table, column "h").

Material-specific graphical representation of the components
From this version is the representation of the walls with colored filling walls.
Thereby are the colored fillings, and the colors of the graphical elements of the component (wall contour, wall-axis label) material specifically designed.
This principle of material-specific representation is also applied to have the following components: columns and beams / coverings, window sills.
The settings of the colors for the material-specific representation of the components
are on "Options -> Colors -> Settings colors for graphics" available.
Upgrading of the interactive graphical input
1. The following tools have been modified or added functionalities are:
- a new setting to the modified functionality of "Mirror" (Tools -> Setting Mirror) makes it possible, that the source objects are retained or deleted.
- New functionality "Mirror Floor" implements (Tools -> Mirror Floor).
- The function "Move Floor" is modified so that the entire graphic representation of the floor is coupled to the input of the first reference point on the movement of the mouse cursor.
- The functionality to "Move Auxiliary Layer" is analogous to the modifications of the functionality "Move Floor" adjusted.
2. A new input for rotated auxiliary grid is available.
The input of the auxiliary grid via the following startup options:
- via reference;
- via reference line (angle of rotation of the auxiliary grid is determined using reference lines) Referring to the startup options is appropriate functionality in the control of the main selection and on the button bar of the auxiliary structure, implemented.
The functionality of "Rotate Objects" is adapted for the treatment of the rotated auxiliary grid.
3. Snap of objects to the floor auxiliary layers for the overlap is implemented.
4. New functionality for setting the 3D view (3D view for monitoring the load). Access the functionality through menu item (Options -> 3D-view) or on the placket (left of the combo box of the case-load selection).
Improvement to the interface DLT10
Data transfer with the material standard ÖNORM EN 1992 1-1 corrected,
so that is made in the design program DLT10 the setting to this standard.
Improvement to the interface B5

Extensions to the determination of seismic loads replacement
1. The list of municipalities for the determination of the seismic zones and
substrate classes has been extended to the following German states:
- Baden-Wuerttemberg (BWB)
- North Rhine-Westphalia (NWR).
2. In the model as the basis for determining the seismic forces can substitute from this
program version has a floor level shall be elected.
In the presence of a base plate system in the building, it will automatically default
as the foundation.
3. With the extensions to the specifications given in Table 6 DIN 4149:2005-04
is possible the action groups to determine which condition 1 of the table the
coefficient of phi (phi = 1 ).

The functionality of the check station was extended

- whether a horizontal stiffened wall pier is critical, enclosed within of another wall pier.
Critical situations this test shall be reported.
Settings of the properties of the FE mesh
From this version there is a new interface for setting the type of FE mesh
(e.g. mixed set: quadrilateral elements with triangular transition elements).

Global overview and settings by involvement at horizontal load distribution
A new user interface for the global overview and for participation in the global setting
at horizontal load distribution for the horizontal stiffening components (walls and columns)
is from this version available.
