In addition, two new PLUS programs for steel construction were developed: SWA+ and QS+. The timber beams can be reinforced on one or both sides using additional timber cross-sections or U or L steel sections. The side reinforcements are connected to the timber core as a coupled system using a selection of connecting devices. The reinforcements can be stored and loaded separately from the timber core. Users can consider bolts, pins, threaded rods and connector joints as connecting devices. In addition to the free choice of supports for the different static systems, the loads can be freely applied to all members. The user can configure the beam connection with or without a notch and arrange the notch on one or both sides. The angle geometry and bolt patterns can be specified or taken from the connection configuration catalog. With the new PLUS program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frilo.eu\/en\/product\/steel-cross-sections-general\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Steel Cross-Sections General QS+<\/span><\/a>, cross-section values of any thin-walled steel structure sections can be modeled. DXF files can be used as auxiliary slides for graphical cross-section modeling. The elements integrated in the FRILO program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frilo.eu\/en\/product\/flight-of-stairs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Staircase B7+<\/span><\/a> are Tronsole\u00ae Type F for the sound-insulating connection of staircases to landings and floor ceilings and Type B for the connection to floor slabs. The design is based on Sch\u00f6ck\u2019s building authority approval. Based on the input parameters previously selected in the FRILO program and the calculated support forces, the appropriate Tronsole is transferred to the B7+ via a web interface provided by Sch\u00f6ck. The B7+ helps the user to comply with the concrete cover and dimensions requirements according to the approval. \u201cWe are pleased to have further deepened the intensive cooperation with the member manufacturer Sch\u00f6ck by integrating the Tronsole into the B7+ solution.
