Diaphragm Wall Lamellae
The “Diaphragm Wall Lamellae” program can be used to analyze the stability of diaphragm wall lamellae in accordance with DIN 4126. In the analysis, both a guide wall and corner lamellae can be considered according to the method of Triantafyllidis, Vogelsang and Grandas-Tavera.
Only available in FRILO Geotechnic Ultimate
Performance characteristics
Structural system
- Input of the dimensions of the diaphragm wall and the guide wall and of the required parameters of the supporting liquid
- Consideration of corner lamellae according to the approach of Triantafyllidis, Vogelsang and Grandas-Tavera
- For the accurate internal modelling of the foundation dimensions, it is possible to import DXF graphics as a background
Soil
- Variable horizontal soil stratification
Terrain
- Horizontal or inclined ground surface with up to two slopes
Loads
- A maximum of ten area loads can be applied individually or in combination for the pressure at rest on the guide wall and the lateral pressure on the sliding wedge
Geotechnical verifications
- Bilinear assumption of lateral pressure according to DIN 4126
- Consideration of the guide wall with a supporting pressure at rest
- Analysis of the loss of supporting liquid through ingress in the soil
- Verification of the safety against groundwater ingress into the lamella and against displacement of the supporting liquid
- Verification of the safety against sliding of individual grains or grain groups
- Verification of the safety against sliding surfaces in the ground threatening the lamella
- Verification of the required liquid limit of the supporting liquid
Results
- Detailed, graphical display of:
- utilisation
- pressure gradient
- penetration depth
- support force
- earth pressure
- flank friction
