Vibro-Compaction

The “Vibro-Compaction” program is used to analyze the settlements of foundations and allows to take soil improvement by vibro-compaction into account according to the approach by Priebe. Any number of isolated, strip, circular and annular foundations can be considered.

Performance characteristics

Structural system
  • Any number of isolated, strip, circular and annular foundations
  • Arrangement of the columns in a triangular or quadrangular grid with freely selectable spacing
  • Consideration of rigid inclusions (rigid columns)
  • For the accurate internal modelling of the foundation dimensions, it is possible to import DXF graphics as a background
Soil
  • Any horizontal soil stratification with corresponding column parameters and diameters for each analysis section or foundation
  • Consideration of load distribution layers above and beneath the columns
Groundwater
  • Input of the groundwater level to consider buoyancy
Loads
  • Several load cases with area loads
Geotechnical verifications
  • Analysis of the stresses and settlements with and without soil improvement and representation in a diagram
  • Analysis of the soil improvement following the approach by Priebe
  • Analysis of the ground failure safety with and without soil improvement
Output
  • Detailed output of the individual load cases as text and graphics
File format
  • PDF
  • Printer
